Maneger (Production)

Target Achievement: Planning, scheduling, and executing daily, monthly, and annual production targets while adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines. Process Optimization: Monitoring manufacturing processes (e.g., Sponge Iron, Induction Furnace, Blast Furnace, or Rolling Mill operations depending on the specific plant unit) to maximize yield and minimize downtime. Resource Management: Efficiently managing manpower, raw materials (sponge iron, scrap, coal, iron ore, etc.), and machinery to optimize the cost of production. Quality Control: Ensuring finished products meet internal parameters and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications, while actively reducing rejection and wastage rates. Equipment Maintenance Coordination: Working closely with the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to execute preventive maintenance schedules and minimize breakdown time. Safety & Compliance (EHS): Enforcing strict adherence to plant safety protocols, usage of PPE, and environmental/pollution control norms. Team Leadership: Leading shift-in-charges, supervisors, and shop-floor operators; conducting training sessions for skill enhancement and safe working practices. MIS & Reporting: Maintaining daily production logs, raw material consumption tracking, inventory reports, and presenting efficiency metrics to top management.
