The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is a C-suite executive responsible for establishing and driving the organization's enterprise-wide security strategy. The CSO protects the company's physical assets, infrastructure, intellectual property, and employees from internal and external threats.
Required skills
Access & Gate Control Management: Expertise in handling factory gate operations, checking inward/outward material challans, managing weighbridge slips, and preventing pilferage or theft. Surveillance Systems Operation: Working knowledge of modern electronic security systems, including CCTV monitoring, PTZ cameras, biometric access control systems, and boom barriers. Emergency & Incident Response: Trained in handling crisis management, fire-fighting operations, disaster response, labor unrest, and maintaining law and order on the plant premises. Statutory & Legal Compliance: Understanding of local industrial labor laws, factory rules, security protocols, and procedures for filing FIRs or liaising with local police authorities. 3. Leadership & Soft Skills Command & Man-Management: Proven ability to lead, discipline, and deploy third-party security guards across multiple shifts and plant perimeters. Alertness & Vigilance: High degree of physical fitness, mental sharpness, and situational awareness to detect vulnerabilities or unauthorized intrusions. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication in Hindi; ability to maintain incident registers, daily shift logs, and security reports. Knowledge of English and local languages (Chhattisgarhi) is an asset.
