About this role
To manage day-to-day warehouse and store operations efficiently, ensuring systematic receipt, storage, inventory control, and timely issuance of raw materials, spare parts (mechanical/electrical), refractories, consumables, and finished goods while maintaining zero stock discrepancies.
Required skills
ERP / SAP Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of enterprise resource planning tools, specifically the SAP MM (Materials Management) module or equivalent industrial inventory software. Inventory Methodologies: Practical knowledge of inventory control techniques such as ABC Analysis, VED Analysis, FIFO/LIFO inventory flows, and safety stock calculations. Computer Literacy: Advanced command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data sorting) for inventory tracking, report generation, and stock ledger maintenance. Blueprint & Part Identification: Ability to read basic mechanical/electrical spares catalogues, technical descriptions, and part numbers to correctly identify heavy industrial machinery components.
