Safety Officer

Ensure safe working practices across plant and production areas. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify workplace hazards. Implement company safety policies, procedures, and EHS standards. Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs. Ensure proper use of PPE by employees and contract workers. Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports. Monitor permit-to-work systems, work-at-height, hot work, confined space, and other high-risk activities. Coordinate emergency drills and maintain emergency preparedness. Maintain safety records, checklists, inspection reports, and statutory documents. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other departments to resolve safety issues.
