SR. MANAGER MAINTENANCE

Core Responsibilities • Strategy & Reliability: Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to maximize asset uptime and reduce unplanned breakdowns. • Operations & Execution: Lead mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and heavy mobile/fixed plant equipment maintenance. Track key metrics like MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). • Budget & Spares Management: Prepare and control annual maintenance operating (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets, managing critical spare parts inventory, vendor/OEM contracts, and contractor relationships. • EHS & Statutory Compliance: Enforce safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, permit-to-work) and ensure strict compliance with local industrial safety, environmental, and factory regulations. • Team Leadership: Mentor, schedule, and train maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians while collaborating cross-functionally with production, operations, and finance teams. Key Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s or MBA is an added advantage). • Experience: Typically 12 to 20+ years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing, steel plants, chemical processing, heavy engineering, or corporate infrastructure.
