HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR FOR COAL WASHERY

A Housekeeping Supervisor oversees cleaning staff, schedules shifts, enforces hygiene and safety standards, and inspects rooms and common areas in hotels, hospitals, or commercial facilities. Job Overview Role Type: Full-time / Supervisory / Operational Primary Objective: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest or patient satisfaction while managing team performance. Reports To: Housekeeping Manager or Facility Director Direct Reports: Housekeeping Attendants, Floor Cleaners, and Public Area Cleaners Key Responsibilities Staff Scheduling & Coordination: Create daily or weekly rosters, assign cleaning tasks, and cover shifts during absences or high-occupancy periods. Quality Inspections: Conduct routine checks of guest rooms, lobbies, corridors, and back-of-house areas to verify compliance with brand or organizational SOPs. Training & Coaching: Provide onboarding, safety briefings, and hands-on guidance on chemical handling, equipment operation, and bed-making protocols. Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels of linens, cleaning agents, and guest amenities; submit requisitions and manage equipment repairs. Issue & Complaint Resolution: Address cleaning or maintenance complaints from guests or staff promptly, escalating facility repairs to the maintenance department. Safety & Compliance: Enforce local health, fire safety, sanitation, and OSHA/workplace safety regulations.
