Job Title Design Drawing Engineer / CAD Design Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Drawing Engineer to create, maintain, and manage technical drawings, 3D models, and engineering documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure all designs are precise, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Drafting & Modeling: Develop detailed 2D production drawings and 3D CAD models from conceptual sketches, engineering briefs, and client requirements. Tolerancing & Specifications: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), define material specifications, surface finishes, and assembly notes. Design Verification: Perform basic engineering calculations, interference/clash checks, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews. Revision Management: Maintain accurate revision histories, Bill of Materials (BoM), and technical drawing archives in line with company standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical/civil engineers, manufacturing floor personnel, and external vendors to resolve design or fabrication issues. Compliance: Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to relevant national and international engineering standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, IS).
